RUTO THE PRESIDENT-ELECT.

The Deputy President, William Samoei Ruto has been announced as the new president-elect by the chairman of IEBC Wafula Chebukati. This is after the country was made to wait for more than 3 hours. 

The Chairman of IEBC was meant to announce the news at 3 pm but later happened to announce the news a few minutes before 7 declaring Wiliam Ruto as the next President.  Through his social media platform, the new president-elect William Ruto tweeted saying," For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you,  plans to give you a hope and a future, "- Jeremiah 29:11.

The presidency seat had attracted 4 candidates, William Ruto, Raila Odinga, Waihiga Mwaure, and George Wajackoyah. William Ruto garnered 7, 176,141 votes making him at 50.49% of the total votes while his close competitor Raila Amollo Odinga got 6, 942,930 placing him at 48.85%., George Wajackoyah got 69,884 votes while the last one on the list was Davi Waihiga Mwaure who got 38,936 votes.

The outstanding feature that shocked almost everyone was how William Samoei Ruto was able to get more votes in places believed to be Raila’s Odinga stronghold.  However, the delay made at Bomas before the announcement of the winning candidate was caused at Bomas,  was because of the Azimio’s officials side having caused chaos minutes after Wafula Chebukati arrived to announce the results. Ledama was seen being headed out by the security after he started causing trouble.

The chairman also announced during the whole exercise, a returning officer of Embakasi East, Daniel Musyoki had gone missing and has not yet been found,. He also noted that two of his commissioners Boya Molu and Abdi Guliye got injured.

On Saturday 28th was marked as the Kenya Defense Force Museum Air Show that took place at the new renovated Uhuru Gardens. Pilots from KDF showcased their talents and their special tactics that they rarely display to citizens not unless they are showcasing it on national functions. Different airlines flew to show Kenyans what they do best. Phoenix Aviation was present, Kenya Airways was present and Skyward too was present. The display kicked off with Kenya airways displaying their skills and flying at a faster speed incorporating it with flips. A5 fighting planes then followed with the same speed and spins that left Kenyans in shock how talented our Kenyan pilots were. RACISM IS BACK

The nation on Monday 30th 2022 woke up to trends all over the media on an open racism act that took place in our own Country. Alchemist a club located in Westlands, Kenya denied a  Kenyan the right to visit a public chill spot and have fun just like what one would do on a weekend. The main entry to the club was guarded by a security person as how it happens in all recreational places. Queues were being made as it always happen to make the entry place have some order. Now came the funny bit. There were two different queues. A queue specifically for the Indians and Whites and a different queue meant for the blacks. As if this was not enough, a black who probably was not aware that there were two different queues joined the White's queue. What happened next was indescribable. A  guard that was manning the queue just raised his hand in a manner explaining to the black to quickly leave the queue and use a different queue. KWAASALI ROAD ACCIDENT

7 people have died in Kwaasali area along Thika- Garrisa highway over a road accident in Kanyonyo area. The accident involved a bus and a saloon car. A driver that was driving behind the saloon car said that the saloon car lost control and swerved to the right side of the road rolled twice making it get knocked by the bus. The area OCPD Mary Njoki has confirmed that all the 7 people died on the spot. The saloon car was traveling to Mwingi while the bus was heading to Nairobi from Garrisa. 5 of the 7 that died were from the saloon car while 2 were passengers traveling by bus. This comes two days after an accident occurred just two kilometers away from Kwasaali area at Kanyonyo in Matuu where 11 people died in a road accident too. The accident was ferrying passengers that were coming from a marriage negotiation ceremony or a dowry negotiation ceremony at Mbondoni, in Mwingi West.
