RACISM IS BACK

The nation on Monday 30th 2022 woke up to trends all over the media on an open racism act that took place in our own Country. Alchemist a club located in Westlands, Kenya denied a  Kenyan the right to visit a public chill spot and have fun just like what one would do on a weekend.

The main entry to the club was guarded by a security person as how it happens in all recreational places. Queues were being made as it always happen to make the entry place have some order. Now came the funny bit. There were two different queues. A queue specifically for the Indians and Whites and a different queue meant for the blacks. As if this was not enough, a black who probably was not aware that there were two different queues joined the White's queue. What happened next was indescribable. A  guard that was manning the queue just raised his hand in a manner explaining to the black to quickly leave the queue and use a different queue. There were blacks present who could be heard talking in pain from a video that leaked complaining how the man was asked to move away from the queue.

With all this happening, the bigger shock was that the guard that asked the black man to quickly move away from the queue was actually a black. I thought that we as Kenyan's should be mindful of each other and be ready to protect one another in such happenings but the one's actually promoting it are ourselves?

The leaked video went viral and with light at the end of the tunnel Nairobi's governor Ann Kananu got the chance of seeing it. Thanks to that she immediately suspended the operating license of the club for investigations.

Right in our own country being denied the chance to freely access a club is way too far.

Just the other day in Ney York City, at Top's supermarket in Buffalo community in New York City CNN revealed how an 18yr old white boy drove into a supermarket, livestreaming and  killed almost ten blacks. He shot 13 people eleven being black and two being white.  History has it that the boy had done his research for months coming to the supermarket thrice just to collect data and get to understand how the supermarket worked.

On the day of  shooting, the shooter drove for hours from his place that was far from Buffalo purposely to come and shoot. How is African race viewed? Does it mean that being black is a curse because all over the world, the race that experiences hate and seclusion the most is the black.
It's ow time for laws to be reviewed concerning racism as it is being an international crisis.
