FAREWELL DANIEL MUSYOKA

Daniel Musyoka, the Returning officer for Embakasi East has been laid to rest today in his home village in Machakos.

This is after Daniel Musyoka was found dead in Oloitoktok on August 16th. He was reported missing on August 13th by the chairman of IEBC Wafula Chebukati.

Daniel Musyoka was last seen on 13th August at his station in Embakasi East. He had excused himself to receive a call never to be seen again, only to be found dead miles away in Oloitoktok.

 Speaking during the burial, Wafula Chebukari has claimed that IEBC officials should be treated with more dignity.

He claimed that 5yrs ago, they also mourned the death of their ICT manager, Chris Musando, this time round it's Daniel Musyoka and Wajir agent Mohammed Mahmud who got shot and later had his leg amputated.

Wafula Chebukati added saying, “We cannot continue like this. We cannot make working for IEBC a death sentence. Our job is to prepare a register of voters and not to prepare a register of our murdered staff members.”

Wafula Chebukati has ordered the responsible bodies to look into the matter and find the suspects behind the murder of IEBC officials.

RACISM IS BACK

The nation on Monday 30th 2022 woke up to trends all over the media on an open racism act that took place in our own Country. Alchemist a club located in Westlands, Kenya denied a  Kenyan the right to visit a public chill spot and have fun just like what one would do on a weekend. The main entry to the club was guarded by a security person as how it happens in all recreational places. Queues were being made as it always happen to make the entry place have some order. Now came the funny bit. There were two different queues. A queue specifically for the Indians and Whites and a different queue meant for the blacks. As if this was not enough, a black who probably was not aware that there were two different queues joined the White's queue. What happened next was indescribable. A  guard that was manning the queue just raised his hand in a manner explaining to the black to quickly leave the queue and use a different queue. KWAASALI ROAD ACCIDENT

7 people have died in Kwaasali area along Thika- Garrisa highway over a road accident in Kanyonyo area. The accident involved a bus and a saloon car. A driver that was driving behind the saloon car said that the saloon car lost control and swerved to the right side of the road rolled twice making it get knocked by the bus. The area OCPD Mary Njoki has confirmed that all the 7 people died on the spot. The saloon car was traveling to Mwingi while the bus was heading to Nairobi from Garrisa. 5 of the 7 that died were from the saloon car while 2 were passengers traveling by bus. This comes two days after an accident occurred just two kilometers away from Kwasaali area at Kanyonyo in Matuu where 11 people died in a road accident too. The accident was ferrying passengers that were coming from a marriage negotiation ceremony or a dowry negotiation ceremony at Mbondoni, in Mwingi West.
