MLOLONGO SECOND ACCIDENT.

Just after some days when an accident occurred at Mlolongo Toll Station on the newly constructed Nairobi Express Way killing one motorist and seriously injuring several others, another accident has just happened tonight just at the exact spot.

Today evening at around 7pm an Embassava bus with a number plate KBY 585W and a personal car have been involved in an accident just at the same toll station that had an accident a few days ago.

The Kenya National Highway Authority through its Twitter page posted notifying motorists using the route to avoid it for the meanwhile due to the accident caused. “Motorists are notified of an accident that has occurred along the Nairobi Expressway at the Mlolongo toll station, involving a PSV mini-bus. Multiple injuries have been reported, and traffic police are attending to the scene. Motorists are advised to exit/enter the expressway at the Syokimau Toll Station, even as rescue efforts are underway at the scene of the accident. “ Kenya National Highway Authority tweeted.

From a video that was recorded, it showed how pedestrians and the people who were near the scene came flowing to the bus to try and help the passengers that were stuck in the bus to make their way out. Both the two vehicles that are the bus and the personal car were seen to all have overturned distancing themselves with a small margin just at the exit of the till station. The check booths at the toll station also got damaged just like the recent accident where the booth got damaged too but it was later constructed for duties to resume as usual.
