  The body of the late Arshad Sharif was flown back to Pakistan late last evening. This is after Arshad Sharif met his death at Kiserian when he got shot by a police officer over mistaken identity. Ashad Sharif was shot on Sunday evening at a farm in Kiserian, when the car he was in resisted to pass through a check point at Capital Hill. 4 GSU officer who were manning the road on that day have been questioned concerning the same. According to the report given, a complainant had taken his case to Pangani police station over his missing car, Mercedes Benz sprinter van, KDJ 700F. After a research by the police, the car was traced to being at Kiserian. The number plate of the stolen car and the one Arshad was driving in were totally different. Later on, after Arshad's car, Toyota Land cruiser V8, KDJ 200M, passed through the checkpoint one police officer fired  9 bullets which killed Arshad on the spot and also injuring Arshad's brother who was with him at that time.  A Kenyan nurse working in Durham City in North Carolina, US, was stabbed to death by a mental health patient on October 18th. The nurse was a qualified psychiatrist who had worked in the US for quite sometime now. June Onkundi who has been working in the NGO health facility recently got shifted to the recovery department of the hospital where she met her death. She had only worked for three months in her new post before fate befell her.   A 2-YR old boy who had a fork-jembe lodged in his skull has died at Kenyatta Hospital. The mother of the body has confirmed the news that her child indeed died at the hands of the surgeons while being operated on. Further sources revealed that the boy had earlier been taken to Thika-Level V hospital on Monday before being transferred to Kenyatta Hospital. The mother to the boy had complained earlier about the negligence of the doctors at Kenyatta. She claims that since reporting to Kenyatta, she had stayed for 24 hours waiting to be served. Kenyatta hospital however posted on Twitter concerning the same trying to clear its name. It tweeted claiming it did the delay to enable the boy's blood to clot. At least 11 people have died and others injured in a grisly accident along Nanyuki- Meru highway last night The accident involved a bus ferrying youths that were coming from a party, a matatu, and a trailer. An eyewitness Jacob Mwiti, talking to the media said that the bus was trying to overtake a vehicle in front of it while on a steep road. The bus lost control and hit a matatu. It then hit an incoming trailer forcing the bus to come to a stop. Unfortunately, 7 passengers from the matatu died on the spot while the other 4 passengers were from the bus. The eyewitness said he thanked God that the bus did not roll since he was walking along the road carrying firewood. The bodies have been moved to Meru Level 5 hospital while those injured have been admitted at St Theresa Mission Hospital. The hospital management confirmed that they have received a total of  27 patients among whom some were yet to be taken to the theatre.

Catherine Mukoya, a househelp stationed at Embakasi has been sentenced to a 5yr term after being found guilty. This is after Catherine Mukoya knowingly fed a 5yr old month with her nasal discharge(mucus).  The suspect was arrested in July 2022 and detained at Embakasi Police Station. Magistrate Festus Terer stationed at a children's court,  condemned Mukoya's behavior, claiming it was inhuman and more animalistic. Magistrate Terer also dismissed claims of Mukoya having been framed since a witness told the court that Mukoya would remove mucus from her nose and forcefully make the innocent baby take it. Mukoya however pleaded for leniency saying she has a 3 yr old who will suffer if she's sentenced to all those years. Mukoya however has 14 days to make appeal the sentence.

The body of Hellen Wendy Nyabuto has finally arrived in Kenya. Hellen Wendy, a 24yr old nurse who was studying in Canada died on August 18th after drowning in a  swimming pool. The incident happened while she was doing a live Facebook video.   Since then her parents claimed that they tried all they could to get the body of their daughter back to Kenya but it was to no avail. During an interview at the airport, the father of Hellen claims his wife and he had to go to Canada physically. He says the government never helped them in any way and it was the elected Kisii Senator who helped them get their passports. The parents have claimed they will give an official date on when Hellen will be buried since there will be no postmortem that will be done. Hellen's body has been taken to Lee Funeral home as it awaits to be taken to Kisii tomorrow.
